Join us on a transformative 5-day cycling journey exploring lived utopias! Sign up for the new Masters module "Exploring Regional Transformations through Utopias," until 24th of March. Experience transformative teaching styles and interact with local projects while cycling along the Neckar.
Students can choose their case studies and co-design the journey alongside lecturers. Gain insights into practical projects, their challenges, and goals in contributing to sustainability transformations. You will connect them to theories like sharing economy, food as commons, solidarity economy or centring care work approaches. The module will also foster individual and collective reflexivity.
Most of the expenses will be covered by the funding we receive for the project T.R.E.E. which is promoting innovative teaching approaches. A small excursion fee will be charged, to contribute to accommodation (eg campsite) and food, with a maximum of 30€ depending on the excursion program. If this is a problem for you and hinders you from participating, we will find a solution.

Fun Fact: We actually co-initiated the project T.R.E.E. which includes this module, another one in autumn on transforming local food systems, reflection days and method training on transformative teaching.
